When Sir John S.D Thompson died there was a major rush to find a new prime minister and that is when Sir Mackenzie Bowell came in. Sir Mackenzie Bowell showed an impact on the world when he showed that he could step in after Sir John S.D Thompson died and nobody would have to worry about not having a prime minister and that he could take care of the country. He did treat his people well but other prime ministers didn’t think that he made a very good prime minister.
